Why is it that at the age of 40, diseases begin to occur? Not because of age, but because of this. Have you ever felt that when you were young, your body was as if it was strong enough to face anything? Working overnight, you could still work the next day. Eating and drinking sweets every day, everything felt fine.
But now, at the age of 40, just a little tired, you immediately feel nauseous in the back. Sleeping for a while, waking up with a headache. Checking with a doctor, the lab results began to show numbers that had never been thought of before.
Cholesterol, blood sugar, uric acid, blood pressure. Actually, it's not because of age that makes us easily sick, but because our lifestyle for decades before finally showed the results.
1. Metabolism begins to slow down. After the age of 35, the metabolism of the body naturally decreases. It means that foods that used to be quickly burned into modern energy are easier to accumulate into fat. The weight of the body rises faster, and the risk of diabetes and cholesterol increases.
2. The body has been working too long without rest. Years of hard work, stress, lack of sleep, and exercising make organs in the body such as the heart, spleen, and liver experience chronic fatigue. They still work, but not as hard as they used to. A little pressure can cause illness.
3. Wrong lifestyle and eating patterns. Excessive coffee, eating fast, lacking vegetables, and rarely drinking plain water.
Small things that used to feel normal, turned out to be long-term poisons. When young, the body can still digest, but at the age of 40, the effects appear in the form of nausea, hypertension, or indigestion.
4. Overloaded stress and mental burden.
The age of 40 is a time when many people are at the peak of responsibility, taking care of the family, work, parents, and even children who are starting to grow up. A heavy mental burden without good management triggers excessive stress hormones, which eventually weakens the body's endurance.
5. Lack of movement but a lot of sitting. Office work, household routines, and tiredness make many people stop moving actively. As a result, blood circulation slows down, muscles weaken, and the risk of heart and stroke increases sharply.
6. The body needs care, not just activity. At this age, the body no longer just needs to eat and sleep, but also complete care. Regular exercise, enough rest, routine health check, and balanced diet. Because what we used to neglect, now we have to take care of it with full awareness.
A disease at the age of 40 is not an old age curse, but a soft warning from the body. Thank you for taking me this far. Now please take care of me as I have taken care of you since then.
For that, start a healthy life now.
